St. Augustine Pot Distilled Rum is made from select, regional sugarcane syrups and molasses from Florida. Each batch is fermented, distilled, and aged on-site.
Light golden honey, brilliant clarity.
- Slight grassy note on entry shifting immediately to fruity notes, coconut, vanilla, brown sugar, and wood.
- The middle is round with dried hay and a light buttery character.
- Hints of black tea, anise, and wet gravel in the finish.
Entry is sweet, light and bright. Again, we find the brown sugar and fruity anise elements. In the mid-palate, the molasses continues with vanilla and some nice heat on the mid-tongue. The finish has a light woody astringency and pear.
