At one time there were over 150 cigar factories in the Cigar City of Tampa, today there is only one left, the El Reloj factory owned and operated by J.C. Newman Cigar Company. The FDA has now proposed increased regulations on premium cigars which could force the factory to close. You can help by letting the FDA know that these proposals are not good for Tampa by going to:

We need to keep those historical factories in the people need jobs the people that smoke always going to smoke plus a cigar is a relaxing thing to do once in awhile.
I stopped smoking cigars, and everything else, 30 years ago because i had smoked for 30 years. so the day after i got married in 1988, i quit. i don’t think everyone else has to quit. i enjoyed cigars and everyone should be free to do as they please.
the government can’t regulate itself, let alone a cigar company.
