For Night 2 of the Festival of Lightation I picked a beautiful mild cigar to wind down the day with, Padrón Dámaso. This cigar is named for Jose O. Padrón’s grandfather, Dámaso, who was the first Padrón to arrive in Cuba sometime in the late 1800’s from the Canary Islands. Dámaso rented a small piece of land in Pinar del Rio and started growing tobacco. He was an honest, decent man and a hard worker who taught us to honor our word and be humble. These lessons are why Padrón created Dámaso.
