Grandma Ida’s Grilled Pastrami Rueben Sandwich


  • 2 lbs. Pastrami
  • ¼ lb. Swiss Cheese
  • Rye Bread
  • ½ lb. Sauerkraut
  • Russian Dressing


  1. Grill pastrami on grill topper for 5 minutes and remove
  2. Add sauerkraut to one slice of bread
  3. Mound pastrami on topTop with cheese, place on the grill & cover grill to melt the cheese
  4. Spread dressing on rye bread top with second slice of bread

Makes four sandwiches
