January 19th, 2021 Lightation Ceremony – Perdomo 20th Anniversary Maduro

For my final International Cigar Lightation Ceremony of the Donald J. Trump administration I’ve selected the Perdomo 20th Anniversary Maduro which features an 8-year-old Cuban-seed Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper that’s been bourbon barrel-aged for an additional 14-months. This medium-to-full bodied smoke has notes of semi-sweet chocolate and espresso on the finish.

Bold Alpha 1-16-21 Episode 41 – Spirit of the Week

Our Bold Alpha Spirit of the Week is Wicked Dolphin Rum aged in Heaven Hill Bourbon Barrels sold exclusively at Corona Cigars and the Davidoff of Geneva Since 1911 cigar bar in Tampa, FL. This rum is delicious with nice sweetness and you taste a little bit of the wood.

January 14th, 2021 Lightation Ceremony – Tennessee Waltz from Crowned Heads

Today’s International Cigar Lightation Ceremony is being conducted with a heavy heart in honor of longtime friend and owner of the Humidor Store, Jim Blanton, who passed away on Sunday night. To honor him I’ve chosen the Tennessee Waltz from Crowned Heads, a medium-to-full bodied cigar with a dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper with Nicaraguan tobaccos for the filler and binder.

January 12th, 2021 Lightation Ceremony – Camacho Distillery Edition Connecticut

Today I’ve pulled out the Camacho Distillery Edition Connecticut for the International Cigar Lightation Ceremony as we remember a moment from last year’s National Championship game when Joe Burrow lit up a cigar in the Superdome. The Camacho Distillery Connecticut tobaccos are aged in bourbon barrel for 6 months including the beautiful Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper.

Bold Alpha 1-9-21 Episode 39 – Spirit of the Week

For our Bold Alpha Spirit of the Week we will actually sample 3 whiskies from Woodinville Whiskey in the state of Washington as Shayna Kaufman dropped by with their Woodinville Straight Bourbon Whiskey, the Woodinville Straight Rye Whiskey and the Woodinville Straight Bourbon Whiskey – Port Finished.

January 2, 2021 Lightation Ceremony – Avo XO

To kick of the New Year I’ve chosen the Avo XO for today’s International Cigar Lightation Ceremony. This medium-bodied cigar features tobaccos aged for at least 6 years including an Ecuadorian wrapper and Dominican binder and filler.

December 31st, 2020 Lightation Ceremony – Sindicato Particulares

To wrap up 2020 I’ve pulled out the Sindicato Particulares for the International Cigar Lightation Ceremony. This Cubanesque cigar was featured in the December 2020 Cigar Dave Officers Club and features a beautiful Shade Grown Corojo Jalapa wrapper and tobaccos from Nicaragua. I’ve paired it with the Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve champagne.
